Zoo Trip

We went to the Zoo for the girls first zoo trip today. What a blast they had. We were worn out and could not see everything we wanted to before the day was out. It was on the cool side which, was good, and I think I took over a hundred pictures, yikes! They were so excited to see all the animals that we had been learning about over the last several years. The monkeys were top on their lists. So, after a quick picture at the entrance we were off to see the monkeys..aka any primate that God made, they are all monkeys to them. First were the Orangutans. Wow, what fun they were. They were as fascinating to the girls as the orangutans were by the girls. I think it was the girls' hair bows and outfits, they seemed to go toward bright colors and patterns. Unfortunately they would be the only primates we were really gonna get to see... we should have rushed off to see the others before lunch! We did get a small glimpse at the lemurs but unfortunately the Gorillas and Monkey island were a bust. Here are a few of the girls favorite pictures of the Orangutans.
