A few weeks ago we did or first ever family camp out over Labor Day weekend. Matt was afraid we would not make it through the night for various reasons so we did or first camping experience with the girls in our own back yard. We did a cook out and had the girls roast marshmallows. Needless to say we did not make it because we tried to cram our family of five in a four man tent. We were freezing and wet by the time we went inside in the middle of the night. I can not believe I did not take any pics! It must have been something about the month of Sept! So when we wanted to visit Nei Nee and Papa over fall break we decided to try again using a much bigger tent. What fun we had camping out and cooking out in their back yard. The girl roasted hot dogs and smores. we had popcorn and slept out even though the temps were freezing. The girls did great and had so much fun and talked about it for a long time afterwords.
