The girls love to write letters to Santa. We "wrote" our letters and then we took them to the Macy's Santa Mail box at the Mall. Macy's started this program last year where for every addressed, stamped envelope you mail in their box..they will donate $1.00 to the Make a Wish Foundation. The girls did it last year and thought it was so much fun, that this year I wanted to teach them to think of others first and they each wrote a letter asking Santa to bring a specific toy to a little girl who would not otherwise have one this Christmas. Then, they cut out the pics from the toy catalog they wanted to ask Santa to bring. We dropped then in the mail and it felt good to know we were helping children fulfill a wish.
